The claims process can seem overwhelming at first, but we’ll help make it easy. Storm damage can take many different forms. With wind damage, look for missing shingles or shingles that are creased. Missing shingles are obvious, but with creased shingles, you may have to get up on your roof to notice them. We recommend calling a professional to do that for you.
For hail damage, look and see if there is any collateral damage from the hail, such as dents in your car. If your vehicle is dented, your roof might be damaged as well. In addition, shingles will have small round-shaped divots or other indentations where granules are missing. If you’re not entirely sure whether your roof has sustained damage, give us a call, and we’ll take a look.
It is difficult to estimate how long a repair job will take without first assessing the damage. That being said, we work fast to make emergency repairs that harm the integrity of the home. Once that damage is fixed, we’ll move on to remedying cosmetic issues. All of this can typically be done in 1-2 days if the tissues are relatively minor. For more extreme damage, it can take longer. We’ll be able to provide an accurate time estimate after the initial assessment.
